It is produced in Poland by one of Poland's oldest vodka distilleries which can trace its roots back to 1762. Akademicka is made from 100% Polish grain and is 4 times distilled and charcoal mellowed to achieve its exceptionally smooth character and purity of taste. Finally, just prior to bottling, the spirit is reduced in strength to 40% alc./vol. using pure mountain waters drawn from Poland's famed Silesian wells, world renowned for their softness and crystal clear qualities.
