Château BelairProduct Description:The Château Belair, one of most ancient properties of Saint-Émilion which in 1916 belonged to the family Dubois-Challon. Since then it has been linked to this family, which has managed to place it among the grand cru classé of the area. In its vineyards they grow 13 hectares planted of merlot (60 %), cabernet franc (35 %) and cabernet sauvignon (5 %). The soils are manily clayish/calcareous and sandstone, the average age of the vine-stocks is 40 years, every 5 years they replant 1 hectare.
