Château La Fleur PetrusProduct Description:The estate has been in the hands of the celebrated right bank merchant and Château owning company JP Mouiex since 1953. The Moueix family are one of the most prestigious families in Bordeaux. The family owns a collection of very high quality estates with Château Petrus (owned by Jean-François and managed by Christian) being the jewel in the crown. In 1994 the estate was expanded through the acquisition of 4 hectares of land from Château Le Gay. The vineyard is now planted with 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc and the wine is aged in 30% new oak barrels for 18-20 months.
